Jeff Burger
While pursuing my passions for blue water, adventure, and yacht sail-racing around Florida and the Bahamas I met my soul-mate, future wife, and travel companion. Our mutual interests in history and exotic locales led us almost immediately to travel the Greek Isles. Arriving at the Athens airport the day the Yugoslav Rebellion broke out we were welcomed by heavily armed soldiers and a tank pulled up to the terminal steps.
That early experience gave us the jump-start to pursue adventure in exotic locales while fulfilling a career in travel. Although we have been to almost every single island and county in the Caribbean we’ve also trekked through Thailand and sailed the atolls of Tahiti, done the Great Barrier Reef of Australia and explored the tiny Republics of Monte Negro and Slovenia before sailing down the Dalmatian Coast to cruise through the Corinth Canal and end up back in Greece. We’ve climbed glaciers in British Columbia and explored Mayan temples along the Yucatan. The Jamaicans call us JamMericans because we’ve visited 28 times because we love their food and Christian culture. Being passionate foodies we’ve attended cooking classes throughout the Caribbean, France, Italy, Croatia and seek out each countries native cuisine and markets to experience and replicate the delicacies we love.
We almost constantly and incessantly scout out fine hotel accommodations or historic landmark properties to rural Tuscan village retreats for our clients. From the Queen Mary to Tall Clipper ships to numerous cruise lines to small yachts we’ve plied the French, Spanish, Italian, and Croatian Riveras, cruised the Netherlands down the Normandy coast up to Bordeaux and then zipped up the high speed rail to our favorite tiny boutique hotel on the Left Bank in Paris.
Since one cannot always access destinations by water we have experienced an exhaustive list of airline prototypes from Vintage DC 3’s, single prop puddle jumpers to the newest Dream Liner and what our travels has so richly provided us over the years has helped fulfill our ultimate quest – which is a memorable and pleasant travel experiences for everyone of our clients. Our greatest compliment and reward is to hear that you have had a seamless journey and a wonderful time than conjures fond memories in the years to come.
